• Device & Log Data: Browser type, IP address, and pages visited, used for security and performance monitoring.
• Communications: If you email us, we retain that correspondence to respond to you.

• Process and deliver your medical report analysis
• Send transactional emails such as email verification, password reset, and payment receipts

The text analysis results generated from your report are saved to your account so you can access your history in the dashboard. This text contains the AI's explanation of your report — not the original image.

We strongly recommend you do not upload reports containing more personal information than necessary. If possible, redact your full name, date of birth, or ID numbers before uploading.

Your account data is stored securely on industry-leading cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit using TLS/SSL standards.

• Passwords are hashed and salted — we cannot see your password
• All data transfers use HTTPS encryption
• Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only
• We perform regular security reviews and backups

While we take security seriously, no system is 100% immune to breaches. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable laws.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the platform:

• AI Analysis Provider: Your uploaded medical images are transmitted to our AI provider solely to generate your report analysis. Images are not retained by the provider beyond the duration of the request.
• Authentication & Database Provider: Secure storage of your account information, login credentials, and report history.
• Payment Processor: Secure handling of payment transactions. We share only what is required to complete your purchase — we never have access to your full card details.
• Cloud Hosting Provider: Infrastructure services that power the SmartMedReport application.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

We use minimal cookies and local browser storage to keep you logged in between sessions. Specifically:

• Session tokens: Stored in your browser to maintain your login state for up to 7 days.
• No advertising cookies: We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites.
• Basic analytics: We may use anonymized analytics to understand how users interact with the application, such as page views and feature usage. This data is never linked back to individual users.

You can clear your browser's storage at any time to log out and remove all session data.
